What we collect

• What you type into the enquiry form: the address you ask about, your company, your name, your email, and if you choose to give them, a phone number, a topic and a note.
• What you write to us by email, and the ordinary details that come with an email such as the sending address and time.
• The IP address of the device that sent the form, kept with the enquiry to help spot misuse.

The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no tracking scripts.

Why

To answer your question, to discuss and, if you go ahead, complete the sale of a name, and to keep a record of what was agreed. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or rent what you send.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare hosts the site and runs Turnstile, the check on the contact page that tells people from automated scripts. Turnstile reads technical signals from your browser to do that; Cloudflare’s own privacy terms apply to it.
• Our email provider carries and stores the messages we exchange.
• The escrow company, only if you buy a name, receives what it needs to verify both parties and move the funds.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a sale are deleted within two years of the last message. Records of a completed sale are kept for seven years, for tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or ask us to stop writing to you. Replying “stop” to any note from us is enough for the last one. We answer every such request within 30 days.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
